Hello all! I hope you are having a lovely week so far.

I have gotten a start on my Valentin’s day cards and I’m sharing this cute gnome valentine today featuring one of my go to colour combinations.

To create the background I used the It’s Cloudy stencil and ink blended with Nectar, Honeysuckle, and Fig Concord and 9th ink cubes. I just love how these colours look together and I find I’m always reaching for them when I want to blend a sky!

I stamped the gnome with the heart balloon from the Gnome One Like You stamp set twice. Then because I wanted one of the gnomes to be facing the other way for my card design, I did mirror stamping for the third.

I learned how to do mirror stamping with a grip mat from this Jennifer McGuire video so you can head over to watch it if you don’t know about mirror stamping. It is such a great way to get different looks with your stamps!

I coloured all three gnomes with my Ohuhu Alcohol markers and then fussy cut them out. I popped the gnomes up with thin foam squares and added a sentiment also from the Gnome One Like You stamp set.

To finish, I just added some sparkle to the heart balloons with some clear glitter drops and some white gel pen highlights to the gnome hats.

I hope you enjoyed reading about how I created this card. If you want even more cardmaking inspiration you can follow me on my Instagram , TikTok and Pinterist.
