This is something just so adorable about this cute

I stuck with my tried and true cardmaking techniques for this card. I stamped the lighthouse scene image onto my cardstock and masked it off with some masking paper so I could ink blend the sky. Then I coloured all the images with my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. I chose to go with a nautical colour palette of red, navy and pale blue which I think turned out really well. One of my top tips for cardmaking is to decide on your colour palette before you start and stick to it! I don’t always do this but I am always more happy with my finished cards when I do!

I wasn’t sure how many gnomes and seagulls I was going to put on the front of my card so I stamped and coloured extras. Once I had decided on a layout I liked, I put the extra images on the inside of the card for a little something extra. Do you decorate the insides of your cards? Let me know in the comments!

I like having something inside of my cards but I often forget until after I’ve already put away all my supplies and then I’m too lazy to take everything out again 😛
