Hello everyone!

Happy belated Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends. And to my US friends, don’t worry you still have lots of time to work on your Thanksgiving cards!

For this card I created a mosaic design using the Thankful Flowers stamp set which was recently released by Pawsome Stamps.

To start of I stamped all the images in the stamp set with alcohol marker safe ink. I stamped two of every image to make sure I had enough images to cover an entire card panel. Then I coloured all the images with my Ohuhu alcohol markers and fussy cut them out. There is a coordinating die set available for this stamp set, I just don’t have it.

Next I decided on the layout of my flower tiles.

I had to play around for a while before deciding on a layout I was happy with. Once I had decided, I adhered the flower squares with foam tape to a soft grey cardstock panel cut to 4 x 5.1/4 inches and cut off the excess overhanging. I used these excess pieces to fill in the edges to make it look like a fully tiled background with a repeating pattern.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed the large “Thankful” from the stamp set with a gold glitter embossing powder and stamped the sub-sentiment “Grateful and” with black ink. I fussy cut the “Thankful” out and blocked off the sub-sentiment into a sentiment strip. I adhered these to my card with foam tape and that was it! I hope you enjoyed reading how I created this card, make sure to leave me a comment if you did!
