Do you like large floral images but not detailed colouring? I have a solution for you!

I actually love colouring florals but sometimes I’m just not in the mood to spend lots of time colouring and this is a great way to colour images quickly.

I used the 2023 Stamptember collaboration with Alex Syberia Designs stamp set which is no longer available but this technique will work with any large floral image from your stash.

To start off, I heat embossed the image with Polished Gold embossing powder onto some white cardstock. Then I ink blended over the embossing keeping the colours where I wanted them to be. For the flower part, I blended all the colours together to get a nice blend but I was careful not to blend the green from the leaves into the flower colours because that would turn the colours muddy. Then I fussy cut the image out and added it to my cardbase along with a sentiment from the same set. I added some gold and white twine from my stash as well to give it a little extra something.
